Dr Khalil El Cadhi’s path began in Sousse, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. The Tunisian faculty, heir to a strong French-language academic tradition, instilled in him the clinical foundation upon which his entire practice would be built : patient examination, clinical reasoning, the modesty of diagnosis.
Early on, the choice of a sub-specialty became clear. Hair restoration surgery — a discipline at the intersection of microsurgical technique, aesthetic reading and an understanding of alopecia as a biological phenomenon — became his vocation.
Apprenticeship.
Two mentors, two continents, two complementary schools.
From September 2021 to April 2024, Dr El Cadhi completed the official ISHRS Fellowship Training Program — two years and seven months of supervised training, validated by the Graduate Fellow in Hair Restoration Surgery certificate issued on 4 April 2024.
In Wrocław, Poland, Dr Marwan Saifi transmitted the operative art. What one learns there is found in no textbook : the position of the wrist, the reading of a scalp, respect for the implantation design, patience with every follicle.
In Houston, Texas, Dr Carlos J. Puig, DO, FISHRS — a historic figure of the ISHRS and Fellowship Training Director — transmitted scientific rigor. Evidence-based medicine, a culture of data, methodical doubt, critical reading of the literature. Where Wrocław teaches the hand, Houston teaches the mind.
The Gold Seal certificate is co-signed by Bradley R. Wolf, MD, FISHRS, then President of the ISHRS, and by Dr Carlos Puig. This dual lineage shapes a practice in which aesthetic finesse is never opposed to method.
Vision.
